On the Thursday March 30th, 2023, the US Former President Donald J Trump was indicted by the Grand Jury led by Manhattan District Attorny Alvin Bragg, JR on 34 counts for commiting crimes of falsifying business records in the first degree, in violation of Penal Law §175.10.
On Tuesday April 4th, 2023, Former President Donald J. Trump turned himself in and was arraiged for the charges.
Former President Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, is now the first ex-President in U.S. history to be arraigned on charges of falsifying business records as part of a cover-up for other crimes. All the 34 counts of the accused crimes happened in 2017 while he was in the White House as the 45th President of the United States of America.
The charge sheet reads:
